Cathy F. Benson, AIA

As a full-service architectural designer, I’ve provided top-quality services that balance aesthetics, functionality and cost for more than 30 years.

From small home renovations for my Ridgewood, N.J., neighbors to large-scale layouts for Merrill Lynch operations centers, I’ve completed hundreds of residential upgrades and additions, new home designs and commercial projects for homeowners, home buyers, businesses, contractors and developers throughout New Jersey and New York.

I partner with clients, building departments and local zoning boards to ensure that every project is properly permitted and meets all local codes (which change more often than you might think!). And I use state-of-the-art AutoCAD software to provide and update design, engineering and construction documents.

I also believe in being a strong steward of the environment as well as a reliable resource for those in need: I’ve organized seminars to educate builders, architects and the public on energy efficiency , indoor air quality and sustainable design, and I take particular pride in the efficient, cost-effective work I’ve done with Paterson Habitat for Humanity.
